I had a home built Hex beam for a couple years. I like the Hex beam configuration. worked fine for awhile then the Floriduh sun killed the fiberglass spreaders. I have new spreaders for my home built but the center support is now degraded also.
So I bought the buddy hex. I wish I could fasten it to my existing rotor at 30 feet. BUT the mounting is some off size and shape not standard to any mount I have seen.
I guess I may try some hose clamps to clamp the odd shape and size to the mast I have on the out side??
Any one have a suggestion for mounting this odd shape and size stick supplied. I (if richer) I could buy their tripod mount. and still not be able to mount on my standard rotor on my existing tower.
I just had a quad bypass and still recuperating so no hurry yet to tilt over my tower and fasten the strange mount ALONE!
Just getting suggestions and a solid way to fasten this thing safely. The rotor is a tail twister that is mounted to the tower top that works very well. I don,t and could not afford some other rotor now after hospital bills.
Any suggestions are welcome

This is the photos of the Mount Buddy pole sent for mounting. I'm not sure how to fasten it to a standard mount. I call a standard mount I have that is 1 1/2 inch pipe.

This is the piece I was sent to mount the Buddy Hex Yes it is hollow and not perfect round

The mount is made of some composite stuff I guess its strong?? I did not bend this out of round it slides in to the bottom of the hex antenna mount and has a clamp to fasten this into the bottom. I guess I can fasten it to the outside of standard mast size with worm gear clamps. Like hose clamps??

If it was me, I'd find a different, more rigid way. If I mounted my Hex on that the first good gust of wind would have it on the ground. But that's me.
