Bye Bye Radio Shack

Finally broke down and bought one of the old digital freq counters they used to sell. The one I saw worked well and this one looks new!! That's the only way I would have gotten it as the RS of today would look at you funny for asking about one lol.

I purchased a radio shack SWR/wattmeter a couple weeks ago, just because I wanted one. Didn't really need it.

At first, it seemed a little high. It would read about 5 watts on a typical stock cb radio. It also read a tad but high on swing as well. After about a week, the same radios were reading about 7 it 8 watts and the peak went up as well. After about two weeks my Cobra 29's were showing a 10 watt dead key on this battery shack, I mean radio shack meter. What the heck?
