i will probably retire it. it scans great and i got 60 analog scanner freqincys programmed in it. hooked to scanner antenna it hears better than my rs pro 163 via t connecter

got the 4100.sadly pdf manuals so it was hit n miss but got some programming in. so far so good.
took the 2300 to a radio repairman n he said never had he seen solder he couldnt melt.it parts or chuck it material

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
