I have a cobra 21 I believe and the squelch button broke off fully and I am unable to move the squelch but I don't think its unable to move I just don't know what I can use and the replacement part says its unavalible so I'm kind of stuck here

The control should have the value printed on it like 100 K ohms, and a letter to designate the taper, just replace it.
Ken's Electronics still has some old Cobra stuff in his inventory, he might have one.

Cobra 21. A 23-channel radio. Not made since about 1976.
Cobra 21XLR. Made in 1978
Cobra 21GTL. Made in the early 1980s.
Cobra 21 Plus. Late 1980s, a real dog.
Cobra 21LTD. 1990s radio.
"Cobra 21" is a bit like "Ford Mustang". Doesn't narrow things down all that much.
Controls like those pop up on fleabay a lot.
