I have finally arrived at the Border. It is around 110 degrees during the day. We are being flown to our observation pionts by helicopter. We are patroling around 400 miles of the border which is nothing but desert. We will be rotating between daylight and night shifts. I will update more in the future, Scott

Could be that sense he didn't post his location. It might not be able to post for security reasons.
I am in Arizona and it has been around 116 degrees. It was only 106 today. We will be securing between Yuma and New Mexico.
I know it's been awhile. My last day in my LP/OP( Listening post/ Observation post was yesterday the 16th. I will be heading back to Ft. Pickett, Va on the 20th and home to see my wife on the 23rd. I have personally been responsible for the apprehension of 75 Illegals and the spotting of atleast 250 and 150 lbs of reefer. I have seen many desert dwelling animals. It has been a great experiance.
