i bought a bird meter .it came with 5 slugs. 4 of them i cannot use for 10-11 meter.
they aren't paying much for them if at all on ebay either ,so i am thinking .
is there a way to change the operating frequency on a bird slug??
there are like new but if they cant be sold for a decent buck maybe i should take a stab at modding them .

anyone??

Even if you could change the frequency, how would you calibrate it?

What slugs are they? Maybe someone here would have use for them?

i have them posted in the sale section .

well i have a 5 watt
couple 250`s
a 1k watt

if i could change the frequency i would have more useable slugs .

they dont seem to be in demand on ebay very much either .its a shame they are like new .

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
