We finally are getting some long haul DX. In the passed week I have talked from Delaware to Victoria British Columbia "about 150 miles north of the "north west corner", and heard a station in Anchorage Alaska. Followed by Witch Doctor in Trinidad, then right after that, I heard a station from Sacramento. The conditions were great but the best DX was when I heard Portugal, and then talked to France and Italy!

Last night, my noise floor was really low and I talked to a new guy in New Jersey, right next door.

I just wish I had more time to play radio. Who else is getting good DX ?

Good Dx had been happening for several days but not today.

Yesterday lots of countries in Europe were booming in on 10 & 11 meters. Also Central and South America along with South Africa and some of the Pacific Islands.

Today in NC…meh.

Ralph: When you here those stations DX on 11...I always like calling on 10 meters from about:
28.480 thru 28.495 …seems to be good location
Also heard lot's of S. Am stuff around 28.325 +/-...
Make some calls (4-5 good long CQ's) that what's cool about 10/6m …
You just never know!!!!
I watch the "Gray Line" map...good times to call to given area.

Right there with you Gary! I hear DX coming in on 11 meters then then I go to 10 meters. Thus far seven foreign countries on 10 meters with 1/2 wave horizontal dipole and the radio's 100 watts.
