You will be walkin tall with that setup.... Good Luck!!!!!! Chillin, I do have one question. The vibrations from the speaker, won't they work those screws out? Those screws look big enough to do the job though.. Hope it lasts forever.

Thanks everyone for there kind words.... Yah the screws that go into the heat sink are like a inch and a half. They go thru the two heat sink fins. The ones that go into the speaker box are really long wood screws. Hopefully it wont come off with vibration but if it does I will bolt that sucker down... >

So far the amp stays really cool with that fan going and the fan is ultra quit. Went up to the moutains today to mess around in the mudd and use the height to shoot some dx.

Talked as far as hawaii and as far east as New York and that was on am Ch. 28. Not bad but now I am thinking of trying to come across a bigger amp. Spend Spend Spend... Never satisfied when it comes to this More Power thing!

All take care,

JP

Re: re: magnet mount antennas!

Sweet install. Now that thats done and everthing is working great, you'll notice that there is more room for a bigger amp. You've been bit already so now comes the bigger alternator and new wiring and such. MO MONEY, MO MONEY, MO MONEY!!!! Then NO MONEY! It never stops! "Hawk"
