I have a 148F GTL that I have been holding on to for way too long . I know that these can be desirable radios . Is anyone interested in checking it out? I am located in the South Central Pennsylvania area near I-81 and RT 30.

Can you be more specific?
Are you wanting to make sure it still works? Make it transmit and receive to sell it? Have it refurbished - electrolytic and tantalum capacitors replaced, new front panel, new or cleaned controls and full alignment to like new condition?

PM me. I could help you with any level of this.

Ultimately I'd most likely be selling it . It powers up but the meter light is out .the counter and channel lights do light . I will find a mic and screw an antenna to it and see how things work. Are you nearby?

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
