cobra 148gtl stock mic

I have a cobra coffin stock mic 5 pin colors are white,shield,yellow,red and purple when i hook it up squeals like a pig any one know right color code to wire it to 5 pin cobra 148 gtl? thanks.

You have open up the coffin and look inside...

Well maybe not like that...

More like you'll have to open up the Mic handset and review the wiring to make sure you have it wired correctly.

The DPDT switch inside is a dual pole for RX/TX and Audio SEPARATE - and AUDIO SHIELD has and offers it's own ground.
