Look up in the Fluke's owners manual for the fuse part #/specs, it should be listed there.
the TP3 on the manual is supose to be TP8. it you check the 2nd para it shows TP7 for the 2nd bias adjustment.
F1 Fuse, 440 mA, 1000 V, FAST Fluke PN 943121
F2 Fuse, 11 A, 1000 V, FAST Fluke PN 803293
Yes, CB Tricks has it, but the service manual for the Cobra 2000 GTL has a TYPO for setting the driver bias current. It incorrectly states "TP3" instead of TP8 and there is why the gentleman is having so much trouble trying to figure this out.CB Tricks doesn't have it?
TP3 is a typo. It is supposed to be TP8. The service manual for the Cobra 2000 GTL on CB tricks has that typo. It is supposed to be TP8.I am at the stage of checking the driver bias and the manual says to check at tp3.....it looks like on this radio that there is no tp3...it sez tps on the board and just 2 empty pin holes?
Hi Robb. I'm not sure which particular service manual that you looked at, but if you go to the CB Tricks link that you sent this gentleman, you will see that it explicitly shows a typo for the driver bias test point. TP3 is supposed to read TP8. I now understand one of the confusion's that this gentleman had.I just reviewed the SM for this radio, and it explicitly says TP7 & 8. Not to mention, I have done this about a bazillion times. Don't know what you are reading, but you should re-read it before you bust a move.
The DMM setting should be on 'mA' . . .
