Cobra 85 Odd problem?

Hello all. I have an old Cobra 85 am onky radio. Starting at channel 1, every fourth channel has no rx. All others are fine. What would cause this?

crystal bad? ,,,ya might put some contact cleaner thru the channel selector switch,,, and rotate a few times,,,

The attached can probably help you determine which crystal is bad. Though I would start with cleaning the channel selector first as mentioned.

Either the 7.460 MHz crystal is bad, or the connection to it through the channel selector's contact points or the wires from the selector to the circuit board. Not a lot more than that can shut down channels in that pattern.
