Cobra 86 XLR Power Cord

I think you'll find the pins are too close together on that one. I'll take a ruler to the cord we keep to use on the bench and see what the spacing really is. Can't remember ever asking that question.

Just going by the comment on reddit where a guy had that plug on his tv and another guy suggested that kind of cord and he came back thanking the guy saying it worked. I circled that part in my post above. Maybe you are right and that its a different size, but that reddit post made it seem they were a fit

The illustration above shows the body of the plug is 8.4 mm wide. Pretty sure the spacing between the Hitachi plug's pins is at least 10 mm.

As someone once said, one accurate measurement is worth a thousand expert opinions.

Well, perhaps it was my fault for going to amazon and grabbing the wrong picture. Looks like those cables come in different sizes.

pin spacings:
C1 is 6.6 mm
C7 is 8.6 mm
C3 is 10 mm

And unfortunately, C3 seems to be unobtanium as well. C5 is also 10mm between hot pins if you want to cut off the ground pin part.

C5 is what most laptop power blocks use.

Edit: maybe just maybe C5 would fit without cutting/grinding that ground part off??? Would be cool if the ground lined up with the center pin on the other side!

Good day, I have an Icom IC910H radio. I want to program a memory with split frequency tone on TX only and NO tone on RX,. Is this possible to do from the face of the radio? I don't have the interface to connect to a computer.

@Deon very unlikely to get a response here. You are better off starting a thread on the topic.
