My connex 3300 with mic gain turned all way up is not loud can barley here it and meter doesn't move but it transmits to another radio and receives speaker volume is loud. Thanks for any help

Blown final transistor? Sometimes the "pre-driver" will still function depending on the failure in the final transistor and give you about a 1/2 watt output. Meter will not move much but a radio in near proximity will still hear the radio with the blown final just fine.

Thanks now if I can figure that out witch what and how to fix it! It receives and talks great don't know how far

Might start with a wattmeter in line with the antenna. Gonna guess you don't have a test ("dummy") load handy.

Seeing what actually comes out of the antenna jack when you transmit would be a good place to start.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
