Hello, new member here. I am looking for some help with an older connex 3300hp ( I’m pretty sure it’s a ZX, but it has had a faceplate change) that I need to replace the volume/squelch pot on. Does anyone happen to have a wiring diagram for that particular part? I have a bunch of older cobra and galaxy pots laying around that I believe would work, but I would like to know what wire is for what. Vol, squ, pwr, gnd, etc. Thanks.

Thank. I saw that diagram. I’m actually trying to find the diagram for the pot itself. Like a pin out diagram. I can’t come up with anything.

A specific wiring diagram with wire colors doesn't exist. At least not on this side of the Pacific Ocean. To hook up the new control, the black wire from the old control should lead back to pin number 44 on a single-row plug at the front of the circuit board. This black wire is a ground connection. This goes to the counterclockwise lug on the rear set of three lugs on the new control. A wire from pin 43 goes to the center lug, and a wire from pin 48 goes to the remaining lug, the clockwise end of the control.

The three lugs on the front section uses the same ground wire on counterclockwise lug. The wire from pin number 65 goes to the center lug. A wire from pin number 66 goes to the clockwise lug of the front section.

The pin numbers on the circuit board are usually obscured by the body of the plug. The attached pic shows pin numbers for the front-most pin header.
