This is funny (-: .....I turned my radio on today and you could hear a pin drop !!! For a second I thought there might be something wrong ....I mean I didn't even have any of the local electrical bull$hit in my receive !! the needle wouldn't even move unless there was somebody else out there keying down !! I talked to a guy 40 miles away car to car ....he was only on a tuned Cobra 29 off a 102 inch steel whip (so he said) ....he didn't have a big carrier but he had some great audio ....Skip is great from time to time but I sure can appreciate some good local long distance stuff when I can getaway with it. Peace

I think if I could have talked to anybody today he would have to have been about 40 miles straight up. Even 19 is quite.
