Cracked amplifier tube

What makes a tube crack? Overdrive? I received my fourth broken amp and it has a cracked tube number two (it's a skipper 300 ) no more broken amps till I fix one.

The amps should not be shipped with tubes in place. The big tubes need to be pulled out and wrapped up. Especially with UPS....

They put plastic bubble wrap inside tube is smoked colored and looks like an electronic blow up . I just got the amp I will test tubes for shorts this weekend.

When air enters the tube it loses its vacuum and that's what happens. A pin moved too much, a crack. That's the cause. Not electronic blowup.

If the tube has a "milky" color or seems smoke-filled = JUNK
Trash can material!
