This is how to modify the 4watt 40 channel CB-radio to 10watt and 120 channel. A very simple operation......Pictures below show the radio inside before any modification - please make sure yours look the same:
Remove the little bridge / strap across the jumpers shown below and the connect the spare red / black cable shown in the pictures to it.
This mod = 120 channels when mic gain is pulled out
If you want more output power and want to adjust Vu meter and AM / FM modulation - here is where to do it:
Full turn on VR14 gives approx 10w FM.
