I plan on trying to take my Tech. test this Sept.I hope.
I have been diagnosed with the early stages of Parkinsons and was wondering what the rules say about someone who wants to upgrade but cant send code because of a medical reason.thanks for any help you can provide.

The code test is receive only, no sending.

Their are no longer any medical waviors,if you can tap out with your fingers or send very slow,but copy 5 wpm you can pass the test. SEE R/R PART 97 RULES--97.509-k, In all circomstances the Volunter Examing team will and must accomidate you and give you a special cw exam
