DC Connector for Amplifiers

Can anyone suggest a good quick connector for DX-500?
This is what you need, Anderson connector;

Agreed. I have the red Anderson plugs on all my amplifiers. I have seen red, gray, and the blue ones pictured. If you have a butane torch it’s simple to melt solder in the metal pieces, dunk the wire and then snap them into the plastic plugs.

Get the gray, they are the standard.
These connectors should be crimped with an industrial type crimp tool BEFORE you add the solder.
I have had to repair a lot of them and amplifiers because of an insufficient electrical connection because they were not crimped first.
You cannot get a good crimp after solder is added.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
