Just bough a DM-452 Echo mike for a small set up with a Uniden pro 510 XL
The stuff masnt arrived yet. Reading about the mic The echo is controlded by a slide on the front. And Dual Inside controls control the amount of Microphone Amplification and Echo Repeat Speed. does the mic have to be taken apart or are there holes for a little screw driver???? never had one of these mics.

you open up the back of the mic(the mic hanger button is the screw to do this)then once inside there is 2 small pots ,one controls mic volume the other controls echo depth .
the slider on the front controls the echo speed. or how much echo or reverb you want persay .
enjoy .

Thanks for the info I adjusted from the slider olny so far. and I talked to somebody that used to sell them and he said be very with the internal pots the break easily. Just thought I would pass that along.

The 452 can sound very good when new but they are very cheaply made, hence the cheap price they sell for. I've had two of them and they both quit working within 3 months. Some people may have better luck with them. The best hand echo mic on the market is the RF Limited EC 2018 Turbo. They cost much more when they first came out but now you see them regularly for around $45-50 on ebay and other places.

good luck

i have a 452 mike. mine came with the audio 3/4 way up .i only adjusted the echeo inside for mor reverb.it is a good sounding mke for the price, and works best with stock radios
but its not the best. the best is xtreme 2018

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
