Re: Chipswitches

Do any of you guys run your lincon line radios with amps?

If so, are any of you havning problems with your power dropping while remaining keyed up. The power drops fairly quickly with the amp on when mic is keyed. I wouldn't think this should be happening. It doesn't happen while running the radio without amp on.

Re: Chipswitches

It's an X-Force xt400, on a 100a power supply. I was thinking maybe the power supply voltage is dropping while the radio is keyed. I know this power supply barely handles the xt400. I had to purchase a seperate power supply to run the hr2600 on. Yes, I think you are right, I'm quite certain it is NOT the radio.

If it is the x-box, what might be causing the drop?

If it's the power supply, what might be causing the drop?

I know, alot of possibilities...
