I'll tell you what's worse. After I arrived home from church Sunday I got a phone call from an amateur friend who told me that another ham was on the frequencies telling people I was broadcasting below channel 1 on AM. Now mind you a lot of that freeband stuff is going on with the CB crowd but this guy says it was me because the interference was strong and we live within a half mile of each other. The guy who called me knows I'm a musician and I play at church every Sunday so it couldn't be me but the jerk is still telling the guys I must be down below 1 having a QSO. Oh and *uncle charlie* is in town down in Philly trying to locate the people who are down there. This guy reneged on a deal to buy a 2950 with a Turner plus3 B from me after I held it for him to get enough fundsr. "oh, the adjacent channel rejection isn't that good",,, well duh!
