Interesting, but wiring a typical 8 wire plug has a pin on the inside and this won't work.
I won't be buying one, but it looked amusing at the least.

Soldering mic plugs and coax connectors is something of a rite of passage into the hobby.
That said, I finally have room to set up ALL the gear I want. Not just a portion of my stash. Needless to say I'm soldering and crimping a lot of cables these days.

Back in my prime, my little alligator clip stand and 35 watt iron would give that a run for it's money. Age, eyesight, MS and aggravation, not so much. Lol
