Don't know how many Johnny Hartford fans in the crowd. Couldn't resist posting this pic. This speaker came out of a Browning Mark 4A receiver. Makes it look as if that radio faced a window with full daylight. Gotta figure it was sunlight that faded the black paper in the speaker's cone. The wrinkly spots are the reason it was retired. But it shows the opening in the front of the receiver is a bit smaller than the elliptical cone. Also shows that the perforations in the grille don't stop the sun's UV light all that well.

Just not something I see every day.

Yes it is amazing as much as we worship the sun it's rays bleach out and destroy many items in our lives but also does a lot of good also.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
