Dummy Load plans and pics please ;) My Cantenna finnaly rotted through :(

After previously being introduced to microwave resistors on this forum, my next dummy rebuild will consist of a single 50-250 (50 ohm, 250 watts) dry dummy with a large heatsink . My rebuilt Cantenna is still functional, but if the resistor ever starts to deteriorate, I’ll use four of those 50-250 microwave resistors in a series / parallel combination to achieve a much higher level of wattage. Search for “RFR 50-250”, plus other brand name 50-250 microwave resistors for best price. Off hand, I see several U.S.A. dealers selling a package of 10 for around $35 with free shipping.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
