Hello, I have a Emperor 5010 that I hooked up the power wires to backwards by accident. I replaced the diode D173 (witch was blown apart) and it still don't seem to be transmitting.
Does it actually switch from RX to TX mode when you key? Are you just getting not power out at all? You're probably going to have to pull the schematic from CBTricks and work backwards from the power connector to find what else blew.
Is it possible to be on a lake and have a homing directional beam being emitted from the shore so a person could navigate to that beam's source? For example at night to a jetty.
