West Coast - Washington
Talked to a Scotland and a Norway station @ 3:15pm Pacific time. 11 mts.
It's been a long time for here. Signals coming over the North Pole.

Since this post, the conditions have really opened into the Pacific.
Work 3 stations in the Philippines.
2 stations in Indonesia.

Europe :bored:
Now the PI and Indonesia:ohmy: sure wished we could get those signals here on the East coast.

You West coasts ops get all the exotic Dx.

Glad to see you got some EU contacts over the pole.

I have never made any contacts into Pacific area higher in freq than 15 meters,

Fantastic Larry!

Pointed my beam over the pole after I read your post @ 3:45 PST. Only faint signals and a guy in WI that heard me Q5.

I did swing my beam around to the SE and got New Zealand/WR4141/Andy on 27.38mhz @ 7-9 S-units. Then I got Tasmania/WR445 shortly thereafter.

How does one determine the proper direction when shooting long distance skip? The curve of the Earth plays a role in determining the real vector.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
