fan recommendation ???

looking for recommendations from those that have done it. I'm looking for an external fan to put on top of my Palomar 300A that's not noisy either 12 volts or 120

The Antec 12 volt PC fans are some of the quietest all plastic fans I've seen.

I have had good luck running 24v computer fans at 12v. They move plenty of air and are very quiet.

I use 120v fans on a variable controller. They are all metal, so you have to be careful! They bite!

No sir, I meant the metal blades will bite you. Otherwise yes, fully insulated.

Twenty four volt fans on twelve volts is the way to go. My fans just whisper, not annoying at all.

And there's a bonus. On the surplus or secondary market, 24 Volt fans are cheaper, just because the demand is lower.

Turn the volume on your radio up so they can't whisper and be heard.
