To celebrate Father's Day, Radioddity is giving away a brand new GD-AT10G UHF handheld radio! This is a 10 watt, dual channel UHF radio that supports both Analog and DRM, which built-in GPS and APRS!

This contest will have a new set of rules:
  • Any worldwidedx.com member may enter. To enter, reply to the thread: What is your favorite Ham or CB radio of all time and why?

  • Here's where it gets interesting:
    • Regular members get 1 entry in the drawing by posting their favorite radio.

I'm primarily a CW and FSK RTTY contester. This radio is the best CW rig I have ever used. Flawless and silent QSK. Each receiver (mine has two) hosts 5 crystal filters and combined with DSP allows you to filters out strong, close by signals to work the weak one.

I also like the ergonomics. Most of the settings are set and forget. You don't need to dig into a menu to change the settings I use the most. The knobs change "personality" depending on mode. For instance one knob is marked SPEED/MIC. When in CW mode rotating the knob changes key speed. In SSB mode the knob...
