Iwas wondering if anyone out here on this forum has delt with these guys they seem pretty reputable. I know Bill Good has passed away and from what I know he was one hell of a tech but I was wondering if the rest are as good. I need to send my Mirage 9900 out to be fixed and I have a Kenwood TS-430S in need of repair in the audio section its all distorted and the vfo is jumpy I want these radiosn fixed but dont know where to send them and was thinking about trying FG Best communications. Unless there is other options for repair I am just not sure I seen a few people posting about being ripped off and I am at home do to Cancer (Mr mom) and and do not need to be scammed so I just want to make sure they will make it back home after being sent out. I have not heard of FG. Maybe someone else will chim in about them. I send mine to 1stop one of the forum sponsors. They got great service and techs. or Rolling Radios. You must have them confused with someone else. If you go to their website you won't see anything about that kind of power output from a Cobra 29. Go check them out at www.fgbestcommunications.com . Bill Good had a reputation of a very fine technican. I know of a lot of guys on 27.475 LSB that have had him work on radios and amplifiers that will tell you the same thing. I cannot personally vouch for his work , but I have heard it and I know it sounds great.

Mr Good was a very good tech. FG has a couple decent techs that work there now. They are one of the best Shops in there state for sure.

There is nothing on their website that makes any claims like that. Sounds like this JUSTIN character just wants to stir things up for FGBest. I know from talking to people that knew Bill Good that this is not what he was looking for in tuning radios. Besides there in no modification info listed on the site at all, just doesn't add up to what FGBest is all about. I think I will email them and ask if this Justin is a tech for them or just somebody with to much time on their hands.

I don't think FG Claimed that kinda power And there is a way to make a Cobra 29 do 40+ watts. But I can count on one hand on how many techs can make one do that power legitimately. Anyways back to the original question Tony your safe sending your radios to FG Best they are good.

Justin is Tech for FGBest I just found that out.
