Nice setup there. Did you operate that equipment in the field? If so, how did you power the amp?

I was really busy this weekend, but I did manage to give out a few contacts on 2m with an HT while travelling to my Mother-in-Law's house, about an hour away. Maybe next year I'll go camping or something and set a station up.

We where on 80-40-20-6-10,made alot of contacts.Had fun,thats the main thing...73s de JW

FD WEEKEND OPERATION

Mole:Yes we had this all out on-site!!!! What a set-up!!!

20m Station: New ICOM-7700 + PW1(auto-tune amp-tuner)

40m Station: Yaesu FTdx9000D
(200w version)(dual same band receiver)

80m Station: Yaesu FTdx9000MP(400w twin cross-band receiver version with external supply+ dual filtered speaker combo)

Generators: 4 KW Coleman/220-120volt...
(IC-7700+PW1)

6 KW John Deere(220/120volt nice one!)(for the FTdx9000's)

2 more misc. ones(2kw/120 volt) for lighting and FANS...again it was hot!!!

We had a tray of chicken wings/chips...cooler with a few 807's and some other munchies items!!!
Roger and Troy and Rita and Larry put on a great spread!
Great fun...great gear!
