Fire Ring

I purchased a Coax Cable With A Fire Ring and when I went to install it I don't know how it goes together. :x I am putting it on a Hustler HQ-27 Antenna. Can someone please help me? I cant believe there were no instructions! I must be the one in a million who has never used one!

Fire Flex made this coax cable I got it from CB World Item # K-8R9. Will this help? I am desperate!

If I recall correctly, that is designed for a certain type of mount....meaning if you don't have that mount it's no use.

....and BTW, you can check the install easily....check outer braid to ground, and center conductor to antenna.

The Photo is a big help and a OHM Meter is a good check I got so pissed that I got unable to think of that!

This went on with no problem and now I have to set the SWR and it is completed until this spring! Then I will put the antenna on the roof with a Wilson 5000.

Looks the same as a half-dozen other plastic molded stud/coax mount assemblies out there, with a fancy name.
