Just thought I would share this idea that a friend of mine is now using. You see he lives in a mobile home with restrictions on antennas but after playing on my radio wanted his own. So here's what we did using a gas powered post hole digger we dug 3 foot and put a 6 foot 1 1/2 inch diam. pipe in ground. then on the 3 foot pole we bolted a trailer swivel foot mount after cutting off the foot with a die grinder. next we bolted a 6 foot pole to the top of this and then connected his A-99 antenna. this folds down along the side of his trailer and lays in big metal bike hanger hooks when not in use. We did run a 14 foot piece of jumper cable wire from the base of antenna to a ground rod placed next to the pole in the ground. with antenna in up position only the bottom 2 foot is not above the roof line. And seeing how he works during the hours that the office is open he can raise this when getting home from work and drop it in the morning before work. We did check with several neighbors to verify no RF interference and so far all seems good. Just thought I would share this for others to possibly use. By the way he does have a piece of rope going from the base of antenna to a handle he can pull to assist in raising this although it's really not that difficult. I would post a pic but don't know how to.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
