For the Guys that are Addicted to the Uniden HR2510 chassis


Yeah...meh..OK. Cool but a lot of trouble to go through for a radio chassis that is really outdated now and up there in age. While I like the chassis and agree it's better than a lot of what is out there..realize this design came up in 1986 and then again in 1988 and is old. Saying that it is better than a lot of what is out there isn't saying much either. I could see it having a limited target market for die hard fans..but...that's about it. Caps are getting old..parts discontinued and basically it was a glorified CB rig to begin with.

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
