I am selling a pair of used 3-500z tubes. In both tubes, The glass is clear and neither tube ratters. I just bought new tubes from RF parts, And I no longer need these. I am seeing the same output with these as I am getting from the new ones. Which is 600 watts output with a 30-watt dead key modulating to 60 watts. The amplifier is wired for 120v. These tubes came out of another amplifier I bought a few months ago. Selling as is. Asking price $220.00 Shipped. PayPal.

Good. Now I can mention one thing visible in the third picture. Solder in one of the filament pins looks like it has melted. The brown plastic around this pin has turned black. Tells us that pin was throwing a lot of heat. Probably what melted the solder inside it. Then again, once that solder melts the first time, the resistance inside that pin will rise. Ohms law says this will produce heat. Current times resistance.
I decided to treat it as "caveat emptor" and let any prospective buyer on this forum spot the dark ring around the pin on that tube. Naturally it will be up to the prospective fleabay buyer to pay attention and spot that for him/herself.
The burned brown plastic is never a good sign for long service life.
