Purchased 7/24/2020 from copper electronics. Purchased a non-light fan kit on eBay. Anderson Powerpole SB50 connector (flood soldered). The fan is wired into the powerpole but has a separate 15 amp powerpole so you can hook it up differently.

The standard screws holding the cover/fan bracket were insufficient so I JB welded 6 x 32 nuts to the inside of the DX500 case so I could use 6 x 32 knurled thumb screws. Used a few times on the base with my Cobra 29 LTD Classic.

Looks like new, no scratches, not over-volted, not over driven. Interior pictures were taken before JB welding the 6 x 32 bolts. Trust me when I say attaching anything with JB weld is not pretty…LOL. Transistors are DEI.

Asking $350. Includes PayPal and shipping CONUS.

Thanks
Brad

That was fast lol. I love those Telepost meters myself. Can't afford. Stuck with a MFJ 826b. Nearest I could stretch lol.

Ranch55:
I already have four (4) of the LPC501, HF/6m 3KW PEP Coupler with SO-239 Connectors. So I’m good unless I add more antennas or radios. I have four radios sharing two antennas…using an antenna switch as a radio switch. I emailed Larry at Telepost first to make sure they weren’t have supply issues. This is his reply from two days ago.

Hi, Brad. We have a good supply of LPC501s now, and should not have any shortages going, so it doesn't make much difference if you order just a meter, or add couplers as well. We do have a backlog, though, so a new order might not ship until next week. LPC502 and LPC503 are currently built to order, so they take longer.

I probably bought one of the first five (5) or less of the PowerMaster I when it first came out. I remember speaking with Jay at length before my purchase. I ran it for years, then simply ran Bird 43 meters and an ALPHA 4510A meter. Only in the last year I have started using the Telepost….my attraction was the 7 inch LCD built in test tones, four (4) connections, various waveforms and other testing aspects. I think it shows me more information on one screen than the PowerMaster II although I could be mistaken.

Hotdog…second LP-700 monitor just showed up. Here’s what it looks like seeing both input and output simultaneously. Yes I’m thrilled although I think I may have smoked my Gainmaster 5/8 wave with only a momentary 500 watt burst. Not sure as SWR looks fine with under 400 watts.

Now I’m trying to decide between that AL-80b or a Yaesu 101-E with AM/11 meters, matching frequency counter and a Shure 450 desk mic ($600)…Hmmm maybe I should just save the coin.

I would fix the antenna first.
