I would definitely get pics showing the radio functions. I would do this with any radio you buy from this guy. I bought an S9 from him that was advertised as needing an alignment. What I got was a radio with the freq and channel display board toasted. The part was no longer available and when it was it was a $90 part. Sold it on e-bay for parts only, lost my ass on that one.
