A few weeks ago, my Kenwood TH-D74 decided that it didn't want to power on anymore. A little research showed that these early models had a defect, which if failed while under warranty, would have been fixed free of charge. But alas, mine is one of the first run and has been out of warranty for a while. So I sent it off to the FTH Group in So Cal, which is the authorized North America service center for Kenwood radios.
They diagnosed the problem and emailed me within a day of receiving the radio with a quote. 10 days after paying and I have the radio back. Sarah, the Customer Service rep was helpful with each inquiry I made. While it's unfortunate that the radio had a problem, the company servicing these radios definitely treats their customers right. Here's the website in case you need Kenwood radio work: http://www.fthgroupinc.com/
