Hey bigred, what channels do you use? If just the regular 40, find yourself a grant xl. Look at my user name.....get it? Yea i used a dx667 with a dx3200 for a LONG time. Absolutely NO problems. The audio was PERFECT. AM & SSB. I could talk ANYWHERE with just the 667v. Of course with the 3200, i could talk anywhere....WHENEVER i wanted

You'll be pleasantly surprised with the second-to-none xmit & rcv of the xl. It works flawlessly with the 667v. Until you decide to go bigger, you will have a premium setup.
