Just a quick question. I just received a Galaxy 99v not the v2 back from tech who alligned it and was wondering what the older 99v being a dual final radio should be showing on my meter with a 50ohms dummy load.

A realize that a few extra watts at this level does not amount to much but just curious. Any opinions are appreciated...

Stock they are listed as 10w on AM, and 25 watts pep on SSB. If it's been tuned and aligned it may do anywhere from 25-40 watts on AM. SSB should be about the same. Maybe a bit more.

Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
