Galaxy DX86V Receive diodes

Has anyone tried the 1N6263 diodes for the receive upgrade to the DX86V yet? Haven't seen anything about them on this radio. Would they be the same as the 900 series Galaxy board? Thanks....

I heard that all the newer Galaxies already have that from the factory. The closest schematic available is for the 979.

Ok, great. Thanks 808...got one on the way and was looking for info. Got the alignment etc from cbtricks but no schematic. Thanks again....hopefully a schematic comes out soon...

According to 979 schematic AM detector diodes are 1n60, so no improvement with 1N6263.
Same with NB circuit.

Yep, since around 2010ish they all have the little blue diodes from the factory. Funny thing is there are still shops charging for the schottky upgrade on brand new radios.

Yeah, they probably detune L8 to make it a little more quiet, then "cha ching!".
