Need a little help or suggestions please. Galaxy DX959 works well but has no SSB receive. Transmit works on SSB. AM works good on both transmit and receive. Scratching my head or is it something simple.... Thanks for any help on where to look....

What do you have on hand as troubleshooting tools?
A basic multi meter would let you check for simple faults.
Do you know which component is the sideband crystal filter? Quick test is to use the "digital manual signal injector". A small screwdriver with your index finger laying alongside the metal shaft. This turns you into a receiving antenna. Touching one, then the other of the two signal pins on the solder side of the pc board below this filter should get you a burst of noise. Be sure the volume is turned up first.
If you can't hear anything that way, the problem is downstream from that filter.
This isn't one of those "they all do that" faults.
