I have no tx or tx light on key up. Rx is fine just no wattage and no light. So far I've replaced tr45 which was burnt and split down the middle and r220 which was burnt. I also replaced the 2sc2166 driver and both 2sc1969 finals with two 2sc2312s. While i was there I replaced the 2sb754 with an 2sb817 and both regulators with the 2sa1869s. Now i still have no tx and no tx light. I'm stuck and not sure why my tx is still gone. The guy I got the radio from said his grandson locked the mic down over night and it never transmitted again after that.

Are you sure it's receiving on the correct channel?
If not, the PLL has lost its lock on the selected channel. Won't transmit if this happens.

Yeah its receiving fine I've been using it. I replaced tr46 and tr48 the amp buffer and tx voltage switch and it now keys up and transmits and the tx light works. But after a few key ups and the radio swinging from 5 watts to 30 a few times it now only keys 0.50 of a watt like the finals are out but their brand new so I changed them just in case they were bad we've all got one or another at some point but still only 0.50 watts. I tested the voltage with no key up on the 2 2sc2312s and showing 13.9 volts on the center leg. Before I turned vr11 the driver was swing backwards on the meter also.
Does this sound like a bias problem if so would it not have keyed up the same wattage as before with changing the finals again until they went kaput and I never saw any mysterious blue smoke lol. I meant to say I tested the 2 finals I took out and they were both still good. So I'm closer but stuck again
