Galaxy vs RCI

What I find amazing is that no one has told him NOT to run the F150 or the 2970Dx into the Texas Star DX-500 yet. Why? Second of all, Galaxy IS MADE by RCI China. Also, what would you like to do with the radio, AM, SSB?

Hi everyone. This is my first post so I will try to make it good. I have been into 11 meter radio for about 10 years. My current set up is a Uniden PC 76XL, added echo board and talk back, RK-56 mike, DK 3 swinging 9 (yeah I know..WOW), running into a TS-Vmod, shooting out of a Wilson 500.

My question is now I want to upgrade to a big boy radio.

I want to explore other modes and channels. I have looked for weeks now and have narrowed it down to 2 brands....Galaxy (99V, 88H/L, 95T) and RCI (6900/F25 or F150). Eventually I will run the radio into a TS-500. Any opinions or facts would be greatly appreciated.

Get the radio from wherever you can find it the cheapest. Then send it to F.G. Their work is second to none.
