Gap 20 Metre Vertical antenna

Anyone got experience with them?? I got 1 for free and had it set up today just sitting on the ground. Good match but no contacts.
It also tunes very well on lower 10 and 11 metres. Just wondering if I should find a place for it or ditch it.

Never played with one but it should perform as any other 1/4 wl ground plane i would guess.

Exactly which GAP antenna did you get? Is it one of the mono banders or a multi band? I've talked to several locals who have owned or used the GAP Titan, and I've considered buying one for myself as I've heard good things.

Its the Gap 20 monoband. I find it works good just sitting on the ground. I think it will be going for a one way ride soon. I don't have room for it and I am looking at possibly an Alpha Promaster Snr.
