Good small setup?

The 520 is intended to be used with an electret condenser mic (which the stock one is). The RF Gain on the radio actually works, too.
 
I use a 510 on an off-road bike, and its help up very nicely. The mic I use is a home-made helmet-mounted condensor mic arrangement, with an old set of cheapo stereo headphnoes mounted into the helmet lining. If I were using that radio in a car or truck, I would pick a good echo mic. Makes them sound just like a Galaxy or Connex style radio.

I got my 520 but it is newer than the prints on cbtricks. If anyone has a print for the newer ones I would appreciate it. The Modulation is only about 60-70 %. I'd like to play with the feed back circuit but the components are numbered differently than the 520e's. Don't want to guess and mess it up.
