got the id 4100

nice condition but just mic and radio. downloaded advanced and regular manuals. i hate pdf manuals as you need to see info on 1 page n 5 pages down for more so its spend too much time scrolling. but after a few programmed freqs i got the hang of it. im liking it better than the 5100 i had due to screen color. a few minutes of that screen n my vision becomes fuzzy. i got the 4100 set to green ,eyes are fine with that.
when a friend gets home im taking it ,my ftm 200 and pc to him n get d star set up as well as wires x. for some reason my wires x wont load in my pc.
everybody ive talked to said it transmits great sounds great with no adjustment.
i need to see if 5100 cables will work on 4100 as i got the scu 48 or 58 set cant remember right now

My neighbor & Best friend has a 5100 that was in his mobile & the screen washed out completely so you can't read anything on it. He hated the screen before & now it's useless. I have had my 4100 in my pickup for several years with zero issues with anything with it including the display. It's a great little radio & I prefer it over the 2820 that I had before it.
