Man, that sounds like a project. Maybe you can just wrap the whole engine compartment in a few wraps of copper foil and call it good. <img src=http://www.wwdx.org/smilies/posticon46.gif ALT=":46">
That's when you just go buy the Clearspeech speaker. It's not the end all solution, but it really does work pretty good.

noise
i have had the same problem with my wifes hyundia ihear a whine only on the tx when we r movin and it changes with rpm i put a noise filter inline with power leads all ground are in same place as the alternator and batterys .Ihear the noise with antenna unpluged but onlywhen i tx none on rx only thing it could be is plug wires but they were replace not too long ago???? i 'm strumped people tell me they here the wineing noise during my tx as well :?:
