GRE Scanners


They have generally been very well received (pun intended) judging from what I've seen on forums like radioreference.com. GRE is the oem manufacturer for many of Radio Shack's most popular scanner models.

Good quality, good performance, good reliability.
 
They used to do very good with their radios in radioshack..
RadioShack no longer is into that these days..

So GRE decided to step out fully on their own..
Seems they have done very good indeed..

Look at radiorefrence is my best advice

    Hello gentlemen and Ladies. I have the dreaded RCI-2990 receive issue where my radio gets distorted when people get close to my location. I found the C90 Capacitor, but I can not for the life of me find the C89 capacitor. Can or does anyone have a picture of the exact location of C89 ? Thank you in advance, Wes
